For sometime, I've been dithering over opening a separate site dedicated to selling my images. My biggest problem was I wanted to minimize the cost while still having a customizable page. (dA store is nice, but it's rather bland, and there's not much you can do with it.) I looked at several different web services, and finally stuck with Imagekind.com. Their community is nothing like dA, but for ~$8 a month, I have a dedicated customizable storefront, unlimited space for images, I get to set the prices, and I get a %15 commission on the framing. The store has been officially open now since Monday. I announced it to my Facebook friends, and on my FB Fan page and I've actually had some sales already. I don't expect to get continuous sales, but it's a great feeling when you know someone thought enough of your work to pay money for it and hang it on their wall.
