MY Store is Open!!!
For sometime, I've been dithering over opening a separate site dedicated to selling my images. My biggest problem was I wanted to minimize the cost while still having a customizable page. (dA store is nice, but it's rather bland, and there's not much you can do with it.) I looked at several different web services, and finally stuck with Imagekind.com. Their community is nothing like dA, but for ~$8 a month, I have a dedicated customizable storefront, unlimited space for images, I get to set the prices, and I get a %15 commission on the framing. The store has been officially open now since Monday. I announced it to my Facebook friends, and on
GROUPS !!!!!!!!!
Finally, the Groups are here. As soon as I saw the announcement, I applied to create the 360x180 group. However, vlue ~Vlue (https://www.deviantart.com/vlue) beat me to the punch. He did however see fit to make me a co-founder of the group when I contacted him. So, without further ado, the #360x180 Group !!!

We have a big week long inspection this week, and getting prepared for it has eaten up WAY too much of my life. In the middle of all that, I've trying to get images printed and mounted for the upcoming International Bazaar at the NATO base here in Naples. The Frame shop "says" they have the ready before the show. Time will tell.
Things are starting to ease up a bit now and I have a little more time. We are also planning to head out to Scotland on Wednesday the 7th. This is our twice postponed trip. Once due to illness and once because of
The Book Deal
Wow! So sites like dA and flickr can really pay off. A few weeks ago, I was contacted by St Martin's publishing out of New York. It seams one of their graphic artists used a photo of mine they found on flickr as the background for the cover of an upcoming book. A New York Times best selling author even. The Book of Spies by Gayle Lynds will be on store shelves in March of next year, and the background for the cover is from my Piazza di Spagna panorama.
This is the pano they used:

I'm really glad they were honest about it. It would have been very easy for them to send this to print with out telling me and the possibility of
